Baking at Thanksgiving is one of my favorite things
to do for my family.
These are my 8 Thanksgiving pies pictured at my Mom's house,
everyone is waiting for me to cut the slices!
There are always a few traditional pies I need to bake every
year, since they are family favorites, and then, of course,
a few new pies.
With so many types of pies, and different recipes,
there will always be something new and delicious
coming out of the oven!
Two of the traditional pies my family loves are
Modern Mince Pie (featured on 11/14//15), and
Texas Pecan Pie (featured on 12/3/15),
which I repeat every year.
The new pies I tried this year were:
Brule'ed Bourbon-Maple Pumpkin Pie
Pear Upside Down Cake
Toasted Nut Tart
Pumpkin Cheesecake
Bouchon's Apple Pie
and
Cranberry-Lime Pie
